Admission Requirements at the University of Florence

The Admissions start from December to June. There are 4 calls, but for non-Europeans, there are 3 calls.  So, three calls are open, they are open as of now from December, so you can make an application for admission. You have to pay around 20 Euros for application fees. You’ll get the result within 40-45 Days.  So, this is how the admission process works.

Talking about requirements, 12 years of education for bachelors, 15 years of education for masters. For language requirements, you need a B2 level and IELTS is mandatory.  you can make an application if you have a minimum of 60%. only IELTS is mandatory for the University of Florence.

Scholarships and Tuition Fees

If we talk about the Tuition Fee, It ranges from 156-2500 Euros. Also, it gets waived off either through a Scholarship or your income certificate.  So, your tuition fees will be waived.

If we talk about the Scholarship provided at the University of Florence, the Scholarship of this Region is called the DSU TOSCANA Scholarship. So, through this scholarship, you get the Accommodation Benefit, Canteen Services, Tuition Fees waiver as well as receive up to 4,000 Euros in cash amount in your Bank Account there are certain procedures for this which I will specify once the scholarship application process has begun.

Accommodation and Part-Time Jobs Opportunity

The city is very beautiful and famous for Arts and Designs.  So, you can also get many Part-time Job Opportunities.  As a student, you can work 20 Hours Per Week wherein you can easily Earn 400-500 Euros

There are three types of accommodation that you get, University Accommodation, Private Apartments, and Shared Apartments which could cost you around 250-600 Euros, for Freshers I would suggest going for Shared Appartments as it’s the cheapest Accommodation you can get in Italy.
